Fires are easily started by an electrical defect. Should this occur, for example in a computer server, the smoke detector. Th 19" CO2 rack system is always installed at the top of the racks, once smoke is detected a visual smoke alarm is triggered. The system is immediately activated and the fire is extinguished without leaving and residue. Any appliances hookedup with the system i.e.ventilations, computer etc are then switch off.

Safety features:
A European standard for small (DIN) resulted in this system design. The LED display indicates the operational readiness, any fault or if there is an alarm. The system emits a signal which can produce an audible alarmor activate a central security station. Therfore it can form part of a wider safety system.

Flexiblity:
The system caters for the installation of additional smoke detection alarms to be located in the right place in case if and hinderance (such us ventillation sytems) For areas in need of protection exceeding 1m the 1.5kg version is recommended.
